AT-A-GLANCE
Early Life
Keith Ferguson had a modest upbringing in Brownsville, Tennessee. Like many of those whose interests he so passionately represents, he grew up in a home where his mother was the primary caregiver. Though he admits that money and other resources were not plentiful, with conviction, he makes plain that he had .everything he needed and more..
He attributes his work ethic and understanding of the value of struggle, to the manner in which he was raised, and says he "wouldn't change a thing," when that question is posed. Having worked jobs that range from summer camps, factories, and even a cartboy at Kroger, he says gave him a keen awareness of the necessity of higher education. More importantly though, the varied interactions that resulted from his multi-faceted
work history have played a huge role in what is now his platform.
